2009 6U Cougars Take District The Cougars take the District in four straight and their third consecutive tournament championship defeating the Eastside Titans 16-3.
Offensively the Cougars withdrew small ball action in favor slamming Coach Ormsby\'s perfect, pachydermy, percussion, pitches, paralyzing the defense of the Titans. Afterward it was off to the races. With Coach Pitts pulling guys down to first and having them decoy their advance to 2nd, the base-running speed and acumen of the Cougars forced the Titans to make plays or hold runners while Coach Redman\'s windmill arm at third advanced runners home.

2009 6U Cougars Win Kennesaw Klassic Click here for a picture of your 6U Champs !
The 6U Cougars launched the Summer Season with 5 straight wins to take the Championship victory at the Kennesaw Klassic. The Cougars\\\' combination of tactical precision defense and an offense that left no car safe in the parking lot beyond the fence, opened up the tourney with a win against a very strong Hobgood A-Team. The excitement mounted in the opener when in the bottom of the last inning with runners on the bags and the score tied, the HR Derby Winner DJ Radtke stepped up to the plate and scorched the ball over the fence - Game Over. The Cougars then knocked-off remaining teams in the elimination rounds and set themselves up for Championship play with the home town favorite Kennesaw Rangers who had averaged more than 15-runs per game and had the highest run totals of the tournament. In quick fashion the Cougars demonstrated that there were no holes in the defense and that they can hit. At the end of the first the Cougars led by the Rangers 6-1 and never looked back. The game was called on numeric elimination with the Cougars on top 19-3.
